Preview a share card

Runs in your browser

Turn any long URL into a short, trackable link.

Once the destination checks out, shorten it with click analytics by source, location and device, all in one dashboard.

Basics

One set of tags, several card layouts.

Each network reads the same tags and draws its own card.

Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack and most messaging apps read Open Graph tags. X reads its own twitter: tags first and falls back to Open Graph. The result is similar on each, but the shape and the amount of text differ.

Previewing the card before the page is published lets you check that the headline fits and the image is cropped well. The previews here are close approximations, as each network changes its design from time to time.

FAQ

Common questions

What size should the image be? +

1200 × 630 pixels works on all of them. See the social image sizes page for each platform's limits.

Does this fetch my page? +

No. It only shows the values you type. Use the Open Graph checker to read the tags of a live page.

Why does my image not appear? +

The URL has to be reachable without a login and point directly at an image file. Some hosts block loading images from other sites.

Will the real card match exactly? +

Not exactly. Each platform crops and truncates in its own way and caches previews, so use this as a guide.
